Prof. Klaas Enno Stephan, Head of the Translational Neuromodeling Unit at the Institute for Biomedical Engineering, has been honoured as one of the finalists for the ETH's Art of Leadership Award (ALEA) of 2018. He was among three candidates selected from 46 nominations.

A group of researchers at the Computer Vision Lab (CVL) around PhD student Andrey Ignatov have created a benchmark system for assessing the performance of several major neural network architectures used for common AI tasks. The AI Benchmark app can be run on Android smart phones to test several key AI tasks and to check their performance.
